About me
Miriam co-founded the fintech company Ratepay in 2009, where she served as Managing Director until October 2021. Ratepay achieved unicorn status and has been profitable since 2016. In 2017, the company was acquired by Advent International and Bain Capital. Since 2021, Ratepay has been part of Nexi S.p.A. At the time of her departure, the company employed nearly 300 people.
In 2016, she co-founded the financial news platform paymentandbanking.com (PBA Experts GmbH).
In 2020, together with Jens Röhrborn, she founded the fintech company Banxware. Since then, Banxware has raised €35 million in venture capital and built a team of more than 60 employees. Miriam continues to serve as Co-CEO to this day.
Since 2019, she has been a shareholder of the Startup Teens e.V. network.
As an advisory board member, she supports the coding school School 42 in Heilbronn.
She is also a Supervisory Board member of Freenet AG, a member of the Investment Committee at TX Ventures, and part of the extended executive board of the German Startups Association.

In 2026, the magazine DUP UNTERNEHMERIN named her one of the Top 50 Women Shaping Germany’s Future.
